Lewis C. Foster Jr

Lewis Foster, Jr., born in Knoxville, Tennessee, attended the University of Tennessee, receiving a B.S. in 1964 and a J.D. in 1967. He was admitted to the Tennessee bar in 1967, the U.S. District Court for Eastern District of Tennessee in 1968, the U.S. Tax Court in 1978; the U.S. Supreme Court in 1979 and the U.S. Court of Federal Claims in 1990. He served as a Law Clerk to Justice Ross W. Dyer of the Tennessee Supreme Court from 1967-1968. He also served as a Field Attorney for the Regulatory Boards State of Tennessee from 1974-1975. He is a Fellow of the Tennessee Bar Foundation and a member of the Eastern Mineral Law Foundation as well as holding membership in the Knoxville Bar Association, the Tennessee Bar Association (Member, Non-Profit Corporate Law Revision Committee, 1986-1987) and the American Bar Association.
