MARY JANE BORDEN
Born
in Memphis, Tennessee, Mary Jane Borden attended Tusculum
College, obtaining a B.S. in Business in 1992. She received
her law degree from the University of Tennessee in 1996
and was admitted to the Tennessee bar in 1996. She is
a member of the Knoxville Bar Association, the Tennessee
Bar Association (Member, Sections on: Health Care, Corporation
and Business Law) and the American Bar Association in
addition to the National Health Lawyers Association.
Her
primary area of practice is healthcare law, representing
clients in transactional and regulatory matters, including
HIPAA compliance, Stark and anti-kickback laws, EMTALA,
Medicare/Medicaid coverage and reimbursement issues,
CLIA, and clinical research regulations. Her other areas
of practice include Banking, Corporate Law, Commercial
Law and Real Estate Law.
